GoGoGrandparent was launched with the simple goal of helping older adults maintain their independence, regardless of driving status. Particularly in the 21st Century, we know that giving up the keys shouldn’t mean giving up your lifestyle. We’re proud to provide a trusted mobility solution that is helping thousands of older adults stay active and remain in their homes — even if they’re no longer driving.
Today, we’re pleased to be joining with a new partner in this mission: Keeping Us Safe, a national organization that helps older drivers with diminished driving skills make a smooth transition into a driving retirement. Led by a 24-year veteran of the Ohio Highway Patrol, Keeping Us Safe provides a workbook and an in-person self-assessment session that help guide older drivers & their families through aging & driving decisions.
“Keeping Us Safe has been working for nearly a decade to help older adults and their families make safe driving decisions,” said GoGoGrandparent Co-Founder Justin Boogaard, “We’re honored to have been sought out as their national partner to ensure older adults who give up their keys aren’t giving up their lifestyle.”
“Each day, we help older adults & their families walk through the decision of when to stop driving,” reported Keeping Us Safe Founder Matt Gurwell, “We’re thrilled to be working with GoGoGrandparent because the best in class mobility solution they provide can ease decisionmaking for so many of our clients. GoGoGrandparent removes a lot of the pain from the decision to no longer drive .”
