Our CEO Justin Boogaard was inspired to create GoGo by his Grandma Betty. She noticed that Justin would access rides and meals easily right from his phone. Grandma Betty wasn't confident she could rely on technology, and our co-founders wanted to make these services available to her and others like her. Now, Grandma Betty and hundreds of thousands of people across the United States and Canada count on GoGo to lead active, independent lives.
GoGoGrandparent helps older adults and people with disabilities live independently in their home for as long as possible. By working with on-demand services, GoGo manages mobility, meals, groceries, medication delivery, and more for their clients. GoGo’s “GoGoGuardian” system monitors trips and screens on-demand contractors to support clients living with cognitive, visual, physical or dexterous impairments and offer safer, reliable and affordable independence. Built in 2016 as inspired by the CEO’s grandmother, GoGo is now relied upon by hundreds of thousands of people throughout the United States and Canada.
After graduating from UCLA, Justin Boogaard found himself living with his grandmother Betty Luce, who housed him for three years. Always a supporter of Justin's entrepreneurial spirit, she encouraged him to pursue the idea for GoGoGrandparent, which she continues to use to this day along with hundreds of other customers. Though they both agree he'll never be able to repay her, she receives a fresh bouquet of flowers every month all the same.
